Vital Images

Vital Images is a leader in healthcare imaging. Located in Waterloo, Ontario, it is part of Canon Inc. which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. To show the unification of both Eastern and Western cultures, I looked to plant life that is native to these locations. This piece features an equal mix of both eastern and western plants, including sunflowers, cherry blossoms, bamboo, lotus flowers, and maple leaves, to name a few. I used their motto “Made for Life” as inspiration for the imagery, and subtly intertwined the letters with the plants.
